Requirements
A specially adapted Franke slewing ring is used for the precise measurement of water waves and the ship models in these waves. The slewing ring is designed in such a way that high accuracy is guaranteed for large diameters. The axial and radial run-out accuracy is only 0.14 mm, which ensures precise measurement and control of the positioning. The slewing ring is equipped with special fits for dowel pins. These ensure stable and precise alignment of the connection, which enables reliable functionality in the measuring system. Internal gearing is used to drive the slewing ring. This enables power transmission via a pinion, which ensures smooth and precise movement of the slewing ring.
