X-ray machine

Device for X-raying objects, used in medicine, research, material testing, safety engineering.

Rolling bearings are used in many different applications, including medical technology. In X-ray equipment, rolling bearings play an important role in the precise positioning of the X-ray tube and other equipment components.

Typically, precision bearings are used in X-ray machines, which have very smooth running and low friction. These are usually angular contact ball bearings or cylindrical roller bearings, which are designed for high radial and axial loads and have a high level of rigidity.

The rolling bearings in X-ray machines must also be able to cope with high speeds and accelerations without suffering damage or impairing the precision of positioning. For this reason, the bearings must have a high speed capacity and load carrying capacity.

Another important factor in the use of bearings in X-ray equipment is lubrication. Since medical applications place special demands on cleanliness and hygiene, so-called dry lubricants such as solid lubricants or special coatings are often used to prevent the formation of particles and contamination.

Overall, rolling bearings play an important role in the precise positioning of components in X-ray machines. The use of high-quality and precise bearings is therefore of great importance for the performance and safety of X-ray equipment in medical applications.
