The packaging machine operates at high speeds. The linear guide used must be resistant to aggressive environmental conditions (e.g., salt, sugar, splash water). The machine has stroke lengths from 1500 mm to 2100 mm. The average operating performance of the packaging machine is 30,000 km per year.

With the FDC aluminium roller guide, high speeds of up to 10 m/s can be implemented. Any length of stroke is possible. The long service life for the high running performance is achieved by central lubrication at the cassette. Lubrication nipples on the front face allow convenient relubrication when the guide is installed.
