What is needed is a corrosion-protected and lightweight slewing ring for a slewing switch in the conveying process of packages. The slewing ring should be as compact as possible because there is only little space available. Insensitivity to cleaning liquids is just as important as surfaces that are as smooth as possible in order to meet the high hygiene requirements.

Franke slewing ring from the LDZ 100 series in a special version made of plastic POM with external teeth. Through holes instead of countersinks reduce the possibility of dirt accumulating, seals on both sides make the slewing ring resistant to cleaning agents and environmental influences.

Completely ready-to-install slewing ring with compact dimensions. No separate and expensive corrosion protection (stainless steel, surface coatings, etc.) necessary as the housing parts are made of plastic (POM). This makes it very lightweight with low moving masses for high dynamics with low drive power.
